This is a package for the daring people who are willing to discover Lebanon and themselves in a most unusual way.


Day 1: Arrival to Beirut. Overnight in hotel
In the following 5 days, we invite you to choose out of the following packages:

Day 2-Day 6:
I- Paragliding, after enjoying breakfast, the group will experience paragliding in one of the following sites stated hereunder. Cross flights are also possible. During the day, an instructor accompanies the pilots.
Overnight at the hotel.
Cedars (2600 m): In the Northern part of Lebanon. Possibility of flying west towards the sea coast or east towards the Bekaa valley. Accessible by car and ideal for introductory flights. Three possible flights with different altitudes (375, 650 or 850 m) above landing levels.
Lassa (2200 m): Offers a series of high mountains with flights towards the North West. Soaring site, ideal for days with northern winds. Accessible only for cars with 4x4 traction, or by foot starting at the Lassa village (2-hour hike).
Meziara (450 m): Site for winter flights, thermical flights over olive gardens. Accessible by car and located in the northern part of Lebanon, 5 minutes away from the Zghorta village. Orientation North West.
Harissa (650 m): Provides a lovely view of the Mediterranean Sea and the city and bay of Jounieh. Orientation West. Difficult landing through north winds. Take off site adjacent to Notre Dame de Harissa. Accessible by car and located north of Beirut.
Barouk (2300 m): Fly over the Barouk Cedars Reserve. Offers a clear view of the Bekaa and Mount Hermon. Orientation west. Landing in Maaser el Chouf. Site accessible by car.
Faraya (2300 m): Winter site, access through bypasses until Mzaar. Landing in Bakish; Orientation south-west; flight altitude 900 m.

     
 
   
 
 



II- Kayak in Assi River (Orontes)
Heading to Assi River to spend a day Kayaking.
Lunch by the river side (Fish and BBQ)
Return to the hotel for overnight.

III- Trekking
We suggest the following non exhaustive list of sites:
* Moderate 4 to 5 hours of walk., October till June.

1. Ehmej, Altitude 300 m Level 2
2. Jabal Moussa, Altitude 500m Level 3
3. Wadi el Salib, Altitude 400m Level 3
4. Al Machnaka, Altitude 350m Level 2
5. Deir el Kamar, Altitude 850m Level 2

* High mountains hiking: June till October

  • Kornet el Saouda: the highest summit in the Middle East 3088m Magnificent lunar landscape overlooking the Bekaa, Anti-Lebanon mountain range, Hermon Mountain and the coastal area of northern Lebanon.

1. Level 1: Altitude: 2550/3074m. Easy. 3 to 4 hours of effective hiking.
2. Level 2: Altitude 2550/3088m. Moderate / difficult: 6 to 7 hours of hiking.

Traditional lebanese lunch in the Cedars.

  • Wadi Annoubine: a world Heritage site
    - It is cut into Jurassic rocks to give a unique landscape with gigantic cliffs. These rocks house a great number of natural cavities and grottos that were occupied by man.
    Travelers will discover old houses, monasteries, fortified caves from the Middle Ages and will meet with local people still living in the valley and cultivating their terraces. Altitude: 1250/700m. Moderate 4 to 5 hours of walk.

Lunch in the Qadisha Valley (local food).

  • Jabal Sannine, Altitude: 2200m approx.
    Gorgeous view over the coast.
  • Sir el Donniyeh, Altitude: 2000m approx.
    View over the Bekaa Valley and the North.

IV- Other
Winter Season (late December -End of April)
Ski- Surf-Cross Country-Big Foot-Kite Surf-Skidoos.

All-Year-round
ATV- camping- Horse riding. - 4x4 Off Road- climbing and rappelling- water sports - Scuba diving.

V- Sightseeing (ref. It's all in Lebanon).

Day 7: Departure after breakfast, shopping in Downtown Beirut if there's sufficient time.
Transfer to Beirut International Airport. Our representative will offer the visitors full assistance with the departure formalities.

Package Includes:

  • 6 nights accommodation on B/B basis at the hotel
  • The chosen program with transportation in A/C motor coaches or minibuses.
  • Lunch and dinner.
  • English, French, German and Italian guide assistance throughout the journey.
  • EUR 10.000, - Life insurance in case of decease and EUR 35.000, - hospitalization including repatriation.

Package does not include the following:

  • Personal expenses whatsoever.
  • Entry visa to Lebanon.

Visas can be obtained at the airport.
